I have played baseball since I was seven years old and still play in men’s leagues. I love the game. I have coaching experience as a volunteer for a youth baseball team and as a coach with I9 Sports teams. I played 4 years of varsity baseball at Roosevelt high school as a pitcher and shortstop and played with select teams in national tournaments, placing 5th in the CABA World Series when I was 15. I was also on the wrestling team placing 4th in my district during my senior year. I had offers from coaches at community colleges but decided to attend the University of Hawaii instead. I received years of private pitching lessons from an ex-professional and have learned many effective drills and techniques for young pitchers.
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. I graduated community college in 2011 with an Associates of Arts and Sciences degree from North Seattle Community College. I went to the University of Hawaii where I graduated in Spring 2015 with entrepreneurship and marketing degrees from the Shidler College of Business. I have made the Dean's List three semesters and received the Johnson Scholarship Award to study abroad in Italy. I was the President of the Entrepreneurs Club at UH during my senior year. I am passionate about sports and want to transfer the knowledge and passion that I have to the future stars of the game.
